Resetting the diaper and setting some parameters in Epson printers is carried out using special software. One such helper program is PrintHelp. The main functionality of this software is focused specifically on resetting diapers for printers different models. Let's get started with the review.

When you first launch the program, it launches a setup wizard in which you will need to select one of the active printers. Connect and install device drivers before launching PrintHelp. If the printer was not found, scan again. If you do not need to select equipment, simply close the welcome window.

Printer management

Active devices will be displayed in the area on the left of the main window in the tab "Control". Depending on the model you're using, the tools and controls available may vary, so it's important to choose the right printer. To update the list of equipment, click on the corresponding button.

Supported Models

A separate PrintHelp tab contains a list of all supported models. There are a very large number of them, so for convenience we recommend using the search function. This displays the availability of resetting and reading work, flashing and disabling cartridges. Most functions are available for a fee and are activated by entering a key received in advance.

Program news

If you are a frequent user of PrintHelp, try to follow updates and news. Often developers announce promotions, discounts, and add new ones free features and supported printer models. You can click on the title of the news to go to the main site and read it in more detail there.

Error database

During testing, firmware, diaper reset and other manipulations with the printer, errors with different codes sometimes occur. Individual codes are assigned to each model, so it is impossible to learn them. It will be much easier to use the built-in table, which lists all possible problems for each supported equipment.

Checking codes

Since the activation of tools and functions in PrintHelp is carried out using keys, there are a large number of them. They are constantly updated, cease to be active or, on the contrary, resume their action. You can check the key without activating it in the corresponding menu. If you have several keys, enter them in the form and the program will automatically check them all at once.

Report a problem

PrintHelp has gained popularity among users thanks to its live technical support. Just enter your email address, fill out a special form, describing the problem in detail, and send a letter to support. The answer will not be long in coming. Employees respond promptly and help solve problems that arise.

Program settings

In the PrintHelp settings there are several useful parameters, for example, the program may not be turned off, but minimized to tray. Check the boxes next to the required items to allow additional operations for printers, enable the assistant, show available firmware for update. When using network devices Make sure the checkbox next to the appropriate item is checked.

Minimum distribution version: Ubuntu 13.00.4, Debian 8.0, Mint 15.0.

Description:
The SuperPrint development team (Resetters) created the PrintHelp program to service inkjet printers Epson.
This program replaced SPUA, which performed only one function - resetting the diaper usage counter.

Requirements:
Internet - diaper reset is only possible on a computer connected to the Internet.

The program can perform the following functions for Epson printers (not for all models):
- checking the current value of the waste ink counter
- reset the waste ink counter (some models require a RESET CODE)
- cleaning the print head
- enhanced cleaning of the print head during initial refilling
- read and write printer serial number
- reading and USB recording ID
- read and write HEAD ID
- read and write EEPROM
- paper pulling test
- nozzle check and test
- printout of a template to test different printing modes
- initialize or disable PF deterioration offset
- obtaining status about the printer status
- downgrade the firmware (for cases when the printer has updated the firmware and non-original chips are not visible)
- changing the printer firmware to “chipless” - the printer no longer needs chips, the ink level is always 100% (only for models XP-600, XP-601, XP-605, WF-2650, WF-2750, WF-3540, WF- 3620, WF-3621, WF-3640, WF-3641, WF-4630, WF-5110, WF-5190, WF-5191, WF-5620, WF-6090, WF-7110, WF-7111, WF7610, WF- 7620, WF-7621, WF-8090, SC-P400, SC-P600, etc.) - Chipless Firmware Code required - Buy Chipless Firmware Code
- ink level reading
- Ink Level reset and Diaper reset in L100, L200, L800 printers for free ( soft reset ink level is only possible for these three models)

Work via USB:
- Before operating the printer USB cable You must disable all applications that could potentially communicate with the printer.
- Be sure to turn off Epson Status Monitor (a utility that shows the amount of ink remaining when printing) and MyEpson Portal.
- With a high degree of probability, if one communication error occurs with the device, it will be repeated until restarted.
- If an error occurs, you must turn the printer off and on before using it again.

Work via Wi-Fi or Ethernet:
- Printers that support network access will be found automatically if they are on the same subnet as the user's computer.
- Otherwise, you need to add the IP address manually in the program settings.
- When performing service operations, data exchange with the printer occurs via the UDP protocol. The procedure is very sensitive to network problems, especially packet loss.
- Currently, the following ports are used to exchange data with the printer: 3289 (ENPC), 161 (SNMP), 515 (LPD).

I would also like to add calibrations.

Everything can be added if you have a printer. Those. so adding calibrations for all models in one fell swoop will not work.
Take it specific model and you begin to look at what you can do and what should happen.
When you achieve the desired result, it means that this function already works for this printer model.
This is how the models are supplemented with service functions, methodically, painstakingly and at the same time slowly.

How can I add my printer to the list of supported printer models in the RESETTERS utility?

1. Download and run the Resetters.exe utility program

2. Click the FOR UNSUPPORTED PRINTERS button.

(149.32K)
Number of downloads:: 13159

3. Press the START button. We are waiting for the result:

If the report is successfully created and sent to our server, the program will display the following message:

If you get the message "Search end. Couldn"t gather any useful information from printer" - perform a re-START,
by first going to the SETTINGS tab and checking the box "Check support for the test set of commands"
As a result of creating and sending the report, the following message should appear:
"The report has been sent to developers department. Your printer model will be supported in a few days."

(54.62K)
Number of downloads:: 12282

Within 1-2 days we will process the received report about an unsupported printer model and add this model to the list of supported models, which we will report in the news, as well as in installed version an update will become available for the program.
In order to install updates, click on the CHECK UPDATES button, then GET UPDATE LIST, then INSTALL (if there are updates).

Somewhere far away
Open: HELP -> Additional functions:

There is a table at the bottom of the page.
That table shows printer models and the functions that work in them.
Each model has its own set of operating functions.
Find your model and see what features are currently available.

I actually took the individual squares for the Color Check Pattern from you, DC-AC. But for the print head identifier, I still tore out the data myself, in the anti-diaper, by the way, it is not always read correctly (at least on the r290, I didn’t look at the others).

| Message Posted 09 August 2011 - 08:37 DC-AC

I have one question for you - but by mail, check your mailbox.
Yes, I know that in 2.0.0, perhaps in 2.0.1 there was a small bug on the R290/T50. And it is connected with the symbols * % +. These symbols appear in the ID code once a year (and I pass through quite a few similar devices).

The issue with Head ID recoding is closed.
My previous statement about disassembling AntiPampers Prof is not true, I apologize for the premature conclusions.

Tell me where to find a list of models supported by your program. In particular, I am interested in the Epson T1100 model. On some sites (in particular, it is indicated that the printer is supported. This model is not in the help for the program itself. I understand that you need to trust the help, but deep down I hope , that maybe I downloaded the wrong version.
Can you please tell me other ways to reset diapers for the above printer?

Download the Resetters program for free. You launch it. Just in case, click UPDATE to be sure that all the latest updates are downloaded.
Open the list of supported models.
Enter T1100 into the search box

Downloaded it. Installed it. Launched. My two R270s are visible in the program window. Ink levels are readable. They are equal to what the status monitor shows. Diapers are being read.
Service functions are working. OS. Vista 64.

PrintHelp is a program whose main purpose is to reset the absorbent pad to various models Epson inkjet printers. This gasket is popularly called "pamers". It is an absorbent filter that absorbs ink while pumping the nozzles. But let's skip the technical details and talk about why a diaper reset is needed at all and how to do it.

Main function

If the absorbent pad is dirty, the printer usually refuses to work and displays a service warning. Printer owners who “refill” ink cartridges or use CISS often receive false warnings not only about problems with the diaper, but also about the lack of sufficient ink levels and tanks. In order to reset all the counters necessary for the operation of the device, the PrintHelp program was created. Thanks to it, you can return the printer to working condition without visiting service centers and without purchasing new “original” cartridges from the manufacturer. The only thing you need to buy is an unlock code for your printer or MFP. Fortunately, such code is inexpensive and reusable. Please note that the computer must be connected to the network to activate the program initially.

Additional features

In addition to resetting counters, PrintHelp also includes tools for cleaning the printheads, reading and writing data to the EEPROM partition, displaying the device serial number, performing a paper feed test (helps avoid paper wrinkles when printing), checking the nozzles, and diagnosing printer problems and obtaining information about its current condition.

The main advantage of PrintHelp is that it is universal and suitable for both modern and legacy devices. The program is fully translated into Russian and has an intuitive interface.

Key Features
  • resetting system counters in inkjet printers from Epson;
  • performing tests to help identify problems with the device;
  • support huge amount models;
  • the need to connect to the network to perform the initial activation;
  • working with the EEPROM partition.

PrintHelp is a program for servicing and supporting Epson printers. The main function of the application is to reset the absorber counter (otherwise known as diaper). This is necessary to restore the printer's ability to print.

Possibilities

When using an inkjet machine, not all ink is used for its intended purpose; some of it is inevitably dumped into a special reservoir. If this diaper is overfilled, printing is completely blocked until the absorber is replaced, and after physical replacement it is necessary to reset the counter, which is what this utility helps with.

In addition to its main task, that is, resetting the waste ink counter, the program also performs other auxiliary functions:

  • Viewing the current ink performance indicator allows you to find out how full the absorber is and how long the printer can operate without resetting;
  • Cleaning the print head (note: when loading ink for the first time, you need to activate the enhanced cleaning mode);
  • Separate cleaning of color and black and white heads;
  • Read all printer data, including serial number, all ID numbers. There is also functionality for recording them;
  • Providing all information about the status of the device, detected problems;
  • Expanded capabilities for testing the device, including paper feeding. It is also possible to conduct a nozzle test, which allows you to identify nozzle clogging or miscalibration of the print head. In addition, the utility contains sample templates for testing printing in various modes printer operation;
  • There is also a chipless firmware function. This eliminates the need to reset the dirt counter, the ink level is set to 100% and becomes fixed;
  • The firmware can be downgraded by rolling back to older versions.
  • Support: L800, L110, L210, P50, L200, L805, T50, CX4300, L222 and others.
Pros and cons

The application has the following positive aspects:

  • The application automatically finds and connects to the device, and independently carries out the initial setup;
  • Supports all types and models of Epson devices, even old ones manufactured in 2000;
  • Possibility of connecting via USB, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections;
  • Large quantity additional features, including flashing tools;
  • Provides complete and detailed information about the printer: serial number, number of cleanings performed, pages printed, information about all failures that occurred;
  • Simple interface, most functions are immediately at hand when you launch the application;
  • Using the program is free;
  • The utility takes up a small amount of space disk space, has low system requirements, installed on all versions of current operating systems;

However, there are also disadvantages:

  • An Internet connection is required; without it, it is impossible to reset the counter;
  • Some printers require a reset code, without which this operation it is impossible to produce (and the codes, in turn, are paid, but you can find key generators on the Internet if you don’t have one).
Download

As a result: this service program significantly simplifies working with an inkjet printer, allows you to reset diapers and carry out other manipulations, including flashing, cleaning, and testing the printer. You can download the PrintHelp utility for Epson for free on our website.
