Wow how to get out of the challenge arena. Challenge Mode Guide

Challenge mode is a great way to gain Valor points, not to mention a great opportunity to look at your class outside of PvE raids. Introduced to the game with the release of Pandaria, Challenge Mode allows players to earn a variety of different achievements and huge amount unique awards.

For those who want to save time, there are several proven services. For example, fast and inexpensive testing for gold, silver or bronze can be ordered on the website Night-money.

This guide contains various subtleties and tricks of the passage, links to video guides, and also presents all the rewards: from transmog sets to mounts.

Test mode overview

Challenge mode involves completing a dungeon against time, subject to certain conditions: for example, equipment characteristics are scaled to correspond to item level 463. This guarantees competition and difficulty even when high level equipment, allowing you to avoid overgear. In addition, the difficulty of the dungeon is on par with the heroic versions, and the monsters deal even more damage.

Challenge mode offers three types of rewards: gold, silver and bronze. The type of reward is determined by the time in which your group managed to complete the dungeon.

Certain items and devices allow you to avoid unnecessary clashes with monsters to save time.

The mode allows you to get 60-80 valor points for a kind of “daily action”. In addition, additional valor points can be obtained for completing the test quickly: 85 for gold, 70 for silver and 55 for bronze.

Zone overview

All nine Pandaria dungeons have a Challenge Mode version. The time required to complete Gold, Silver and Bronze dungeons is shown in the table below.

Terms and Conditions

Equipment

  • The stats of any item above level 463 will be automatically lowered to match level 463. Items below this level will not undergo any changes.
  • For all damage dealers and tanks, the accumulated accuracy and skill caps will be saved in the test mode.
  • Set bonuses are not active, as are legendary stones.
  • Stat bonuses from enchantments, potions, food, regular stones, etc. – do not liquefy.

Dungeon

  • Mass Resurrection cannot be used in this mode.
  • Unlike other dungeons, the Challenge Mode area can be refreshed an unlimited number of times (the party leader has a special option in the menu).
  • Bosses do not drop loot, and player equipment does not break due to death.
  • You cannot change party members without exiting and updating the dungeon.
  • All class abilities with a cooldown of less than 3 minutes will be reset when the zone is updated. On the contrary, the CD of items (for example, Invisibility Potion) is not reset.
  • Players can change specs and symbols as many times as they want (outside of combat).

Useful items

Some items that may not seem very useful in dungeons can be very useful for completing the challenge mode.

Characteristics

Invisibility Potion – Grants invisibility for 18 seconds, triggering a 10-minute cooldown on all other potions. Can only be used outside of combat. Using any abilities will remove you from the invisibility state, so be careful and use abilities (for example, Alarm Roar) before using the potion. Typically this potion is used once per dungeon to clear the largest group of monsters. If you have a rogue in your party, instead of a potion, he can use Veil of Concealment for the entire party to save cooldown for other potions.

Potion of Simple Invisibility - A cheaper version of the previous potion.

Health and Mana

Healing amber - allows you to restore health / mana twice as fast as with food, which is very useful for healers. Cannot be used in battle. The action is not interrupted if the player is attacked. Do not perform any other actions during use. Sold for Respect from the Klaxxi.

Golden Carp Consommé – useful if you want to restore mana without updating food bonuses.

Control

Amber Sculptor's Wand - allows you to control one target for 5 minutes; Damage dealt removes the effect. The Rod drops from the rare Ski'thik at Kul-Lai Summit.

Coal silk net - entwines the target for 3 seconds; can be thrown from a distance of 35 meters. Made by tailors, requires profession skill 425+ to use.

Battle

War Horn – allows you to aggro everything within a radius of 40 meters; used straight from the bag. Dropped from Black Hoof in the Valley of the Four Winds.

Almost full bottle of polymethane acid - allows you to deal additional damage to Gundling through the effect of Polymethane Acid Infusion. To obtain the item after killing Professor Slate, players must obtain

One of the coolest additions to Update 5.4 is the Challenge Arena, which is being introduced into the game to test players' individual abilities (a bit like).

Arena of Trials- this is a new scenario for one player lvl 90, which will become available with the release of update 5.4. The arena is located in the White Tiger Temple. You can go through this scenario as many times as you like.

A total of 4 Trial Arena difficulty modes will be available: bronze, silver, gold and endless. To move to a more difficult mode, you will need to complete all previous modes. In order to open the endless difficulty mode, you need to complete the three previous modes.

In endless mode, crowds of enemies will fall upon you and their strength will constantly grow.

Your achievements in the Test Arena will be recorded and you will be able to share them with your friends.

How to get to the Test Arena?

To get to the Trial Arena, talk to the NPC in the White Tiger Temple or your class teacher to get a pass to the arena. Immediately after entering the Arena, the level of your equipment will be changed (as in test mode). Depending on the chosen role, you will be able to get some help when passing the Trial Arena.

Choosing a Role in the Test Arena.

In the Test Arena you can choose one of three roles: Healer, Tank and Fighter. Next you will have to overcome various tests.

Tank:

Having chosen the role of a Tank, you will have to protect NPCs from attacking groups of opponents. This will thoroughly test your tanking skills. An NPC will help you in the test. It will heal you and deal damage to enemies.

Healer:

As a healer, you will have to heal a friendly group consisting of you and 4 other NPCs. In order to save the lives of group members in a difficult fight against approaching groups of monsters, you will have to demonstrate your healing skills.

Fighter:

Having chosen the role of a fighter in the Trial Arena, you will have to fight monsters alone. At the same time, you will need to demonstrate good mastery of various game mechanics: you will have to interrupt spells, destroy fleeing monsters, dodge enemy abilities, etc.

You are only one short conversation away from participating in this test with an NPC. In the Test Arena, your equipment will not be subject to wear and tear. Food and infusions will work as usual, but potions are prohibited from being used in the Arena, so you don’t have to take them with you. In the Arena you will be able to repair equipment, use the services of a sorcerer-blacksmith, etc.

Now that you have learned what the Trial Arena is in WoW 5.4, you can safely go into battle and test your skills!

There comes a time in the life of every tank, healer and fighter when they decide to take teamwork to the next level. new level. And it is precisely for such a fateful moment that the testing arena was created. The arena is located inside the White Tiger Temple, and thanks to this new game element, players will have access to a level 90 single-player scenario that can be played as many times as they like. In the testing arena, you will be able to calmly and without unnecessary risk try yourself in different roles.

Where to start

You will first need to talk to the NPC at the White Tiger Temple at Kun-Lai Summit or your class teacher to be allowed into the arena. Once you're in the Challenge Arena, your gear's stats will change in the same way as in Challenge Mode. During the trials, you may be able to get help depending on which role you choose. On the other hand, you are real brave men, so you can fight the enemy alone!

Role selection

In the Challenge Arena, just like in any other dungeon, you can choose to be a tank, healer, or fighter. Afterwards, you'll go through a series of challenges designed using game mechanics found in a typical dungeon.

Tank: you will need to protect NPCs from incoming waves of enemies. Your tank skills will be seriously tested by the most in different ways. But don't be afraid: a friendly NPC will come to your aid, who will restore your health and deal damage to enemies.

Fighter: sometimes you have to act alone. You will fight with ordinary opponents, while using various tactics that take into account the mechanics of the game: you will need to interrupt healing spells, destroy fleeing monsters, take into account the cooldown of abilities, interrupt the effects and abilities that cause damage, and so on.

Healer: four NPCs will join you to form full group. You'll need to demonstrate mastery of your healing spells to save the lives of your allies and work together to defeat the advancing enemy.

Your own adventure

The Challenge Arena will be available to players in four modes: bronze, silver, gold And endless. You will be able to test your skills in practice and practice playing one or another role in each mode. But first you will need to complete challenges in each of the available modes (starting with bronze) in order to move on to the next one. Once you complete the challenges in Gold Mode, you'll unlock Endless Mode, where you can truly impress your friends with your skills.

In endless mode, the tension will reach its limit, and waves of enemies will fall upon you one after another, the strength of which is constantly increasing. The longer you manage to survive in endless mode, the more points you will earn, and your achievements will be recorded so that you can always evaluate your level of play.

Patience and Fortitude

You can visit the Challenge Arena as often as you like and develop your skills, earn achievements, and then show off to your friends if you beat them on points. One short conversation with an NPC separates you from new battles.

You won't have to worry about dying or wearing out your equipment. The duration of action of food and infusions will remain the same, but you can leave potions at home - they cannot be used here. In the Challenge Arena, you will also have access to the services of merchants and sorcerers-blacksmiths, as well as rune forges, sources of souls and item repair.

Now that you know what to expect, sharpen your blades, enchant your new clothes and boldly enter the testing arena.

Arena of Trials is a solo scenario set in the Temple of the White Tiger on Kun Lac Summit. The essence of the tests is to sequentially cope with several waves of mobs with different abilities. As you progress, the difficulty of the waves increases. The number of waves in each test mode is limited. After completing the gold test, an endless mode opens, when the number of waves, as you understand, becomes unlimited. If you manage to defeat at least thirty waves, you will receive a title. Important - as in the test mode in instances for five people, the level of your kit is reduced to 463. At the same time, trinkets continue to work, but set bonuses do not work. You can use potions and food, by default all raid buffs are applied to you. Prepots cannot be used.

Bronze and silver were easy, I don’t even remember what I did there. But I got my fill of gold. It was only on the third evening that we managed to do this. The key to victory was a Sha-fingered staff with a stone worth 500 int. What are your impressions?

In general, Blyz made an excellent simulator for straightening the pincers. You need to be able to damage while moving, be able to distribute cooldowns and act according to the situation. The feeling of satisfaction after passing the gold test is more than profound. It is important that this is a solo scenario and your efforts are not visible to other players, unlike the fight club. The neighbors once said that it is this factor that stops many from visiting this place.

Cons. Uneven difficulty - bronze can be completed by rolling your face on the keyboard, silver requires minimal class skills, but gold requires serious effort. Moreover, among the ten “golden” waves, there are some simple ones, and there are some very complex ones. The second disadvantage is that the simulator teaches you to run and deal damage, but it doesn’t teach you not to stand in the fire. The third disadvantage is that there is no special motivation for players to go to trials. Of course, for those who really want to level up their game. For fans of achievements, mounts and everything else, go here special meaning No. Which is not good. It seems like there was a tweet that the Arena would become a pass to the LFR, but the question is, at what level? Bronze and silver will all pass, but if face control is set at the gold level, then the LFR will be empty. The last one. For some specs, gold is a difficult encounter to overcome. In the comments on WoWhead, magicians wrote that it was almost impossible to get through fire, but frost was very comfortable.

Overall, I liked the Arena and I'm going to try myself in the endless mode.

Now a small guide on passing gold to the damage dealer. The arena was passed by a frost mage, with 4xT15 and a staff with a Sha-socket. To begin with, the characteristics of mobs and methods of dealing with them. Mobs are listed in order of priority to kill.

Banshee. The appearance of a mob is accompanied by a squeal. It doesn’t damage or heal, but after a very short period of time it explodes and you are considered defeated. The time until the explosion is visible on the timer above the head. Demolish first.

Banana Thrower. The monkey, which runs away from you, begins to throw bananas. If you stand in the place where bananas fall, you will be subject to a -75% debuff. damage. There is a yellow circle around the mob, in which the debuff does not apply. The problem is that the monkey is constantly running, so at the beginning of the battle it needs to be controlled and drained.

Mystic. A healer who heals well. The cast can and should be knocked down.

Guardians. They do nothing, but from time to time they hang up a shield that protects them from frontal attacks.

Sha. Big fat mobs. They don't do anything. Most of the time they have a shield hanging on them, which reduces incoming damage by 50%. When the shield goes down, the damage increases to 300%. The mob does not stay in this state for too long, so you need to burst damage when there is no shield.

Murderer. Just a mob, doesn't do anything.

Amber spinner. I would characterize him as a useful mob. He casts a ball that slowly moves towards the player. When hitting a player or mob, it will stun for six seconds and increase incoming damage by 50%. The spinner should be killed last, as he essentially helps you deal with mobs. We kite the balls, throw them at other mobs and hit them.

Now tactics for each wave.

1st wave
Two killers and one spinner. Douse yourself with the Void Storm, then line up with the mobs and throw a spinner ball at one of the killers. We hit with the Ice Spear and update the pillboxes. Simple wave.

2nd wave
Banana spinner and thrower. Let's turn the mobs with the Ring of Ice, melt it, then cast a pet attack and hit the mobs with the Ice Fingers proc. In a favorable situation, one of the mobs, or maybe two, will be stunned by the ball. Nothing complicated either.

3rd wave
Mystic, spinner and banana thrower. Mobs stand in a line. We position ourselves so that we are near the mystic. When it appears, cast Ice Ring, melt it, pet attack. The priority is the spinner. It is advisable to kill him before he runs away. You can cast an Ice Ball, we won’t need it on the fourth wave. If, after all, the thrower runs away, then we switch to the mystic and regularly throw him into the spinner’s ball. This wave can be challenging if you allow the thrower to escape.

4th wave
Mystic and thrower. In general, the mystic-thrower combination is the most unpleasant combination of mobs. If you are trying to kill a thrower, then the mystic heals him, and not very weakly. Therefore, the main thing here is to knock down the heal cast in time and finish off the spinner. The tactics are similar to the previous ones, where there is a thrower - stun, dots, pet attack, proc of Fingers of Ice, killed thrower. It may turn out that it will take you too long to kill the monkey, so on mysticism you can bust out, for example, Icy Blood. On this wave, the first boost appears - a chest, which you use to get an increase in damage. Don't use it on this wave.

5th wave
Three guards and a banshee. The guards stand still and from time to time hang a shield on themselves. Banshees appear three times per battle. In my opinion, the simplest wave. At the beginning of the battle we finish off the guards, when the banshee appears, we launch the ball. For some reason the ball stops in the center and continues to cause damage to mobs - they stand with their backs to it. The shield goes down and we melt again, a banshee appears - we pour it into her.

6th wave
Two mystics and a bunch of birds with one stone between them. Under no circumstances start pouring money into mystics right away - they will heal each other. First, we finish the rabbits, which the mystics immediately begin to treat. We switch to the mystic, kill, kill the hares again and switch to another. The wave can be difficult if you don't knock down the castes of the mystics.

7th wave
There are five types of mobs waiting for you here - guardian, thrower, mystic, spinner and banshee. In my opinion, the first wave is really difficult. We stand in the center of the site and when the mobs spawn, we put the guard and the thrower in the Ring of Ice, melt it, move away so that the spinner launches his ball into the group of the thrower and the guard. The main task here is to prevent the thrower from leaving the center and quickly kill him. When a banshee appears, we launch the ball and quickly kill her. Further depending on the situation, but always keep your Ice Fingers procs or arrows ready, because the banshee will appear again. It is advisable to have time to get it into the spinner's ball.

Next come the most difficult waves, because each of them contains Sha, which is difficult to take down without bursts. Therefore, it is very advisable that by these phases you have two chests and a large burst ability like bloodlast.

8th wave
Sha and two spinners. Kill the spinners by first dragging the balls through the Sha. After you have done this, stand near the chest and when the shield falls from Sha, begin to pour in. If you see that you don’t have time, use the chest, but try not to do this.

9th wave
Another difficult wave, because a mystic and a banana thrower spawn along with Sha. The tactics are the same - let's stop this couple, kill the thrower, and then the mystic. We start hitting Sha, when the shield goes down, we burst.

10th wave
Sha, assassin and banshee. We quickly kill the killer, then damage the boss. When a banshee appears, we drain it and continue cutting Sha. As soon as the shield from Sha falls, we squeeze through everything that is left and if there is a chest, then use it. Attention - don't miss the second appearance of the banshee. After killing her, continue pouring into the boss. I still have Time Warp and Time Travel left on my kill tray. I didn’t have time to raise the shield, but I removed enough to finish the boss in the remaining fifteen seconds.

That seems to be it. I don’t know about you, but I really enjoyed this game and will be spending this week on endless mode. As soon as there is news, I will write.

Continuation. The beginning of the WoW Challenge Arena guide.

WoW Challenge Arena Bronze Medal

The WoW Challenge Arena Bronze Medal is the most basic one and therefore doesn't require much. For a tank, it represents 5 waves of trash, which just gets bigger and bigger each time. on them with , as well as the usual quite enough to complete the WoW Challenge Arena on this difficulty.

WoW Challenge Arena Silver Medal

There are already 8 waves on the silver difficulty of the WoW Challenge Arena, and two new types of mobs appear:

  1. - a magician who scatters fiery puddles across the floor and painfully hits with fireballs. caste him and insidiously turn on .

  1. — periodically throws the tank aside, dropping aggro and rushing towards our pretty nun with the worst intentions. Our actions: choose him as target number one and, after discarding him, attack him or just .

The WoW Challenge Arena Silver Medal isn't particularly difficult either. The difficulty can only be in the last wave of the test, where you need to actively push through protective cooldowns.

WoW Challenge Arena Gold Medal

The WoW Challenge Arena gold medal requires a more serious approach. At least, she demanded it from Aiser. So let’s take it apart, this infection, piece by piece.

WoW Gold Challenge Arena Wave 1:

  • 40 sec.

In every wave of testing arenasWoW mobs always come from one place. No, not from that. And from the fact (during the 1st wave) that it is slightly to the right of the gate to the WoW testing arena (if you stand facing it).

WoW Gold Challenge Arena Wave 2:

  • /5 ,
  • 40 sec.

WoW Gold Challenge Arena Wave 3:

  • 2 > > ,
  • 40 sec.

Let's pick it up . Running out from the opposite side we take it off our panda . Let's do it to him and, in order to avoid the robber bananas from hitting our dear nun, we try to pull him aside. At all, We try to keep all mobs near the fences of the testing arena.

  1. Let's live .
  2. Let's pour rage into .
  3. We slowly move back clockwise until the next circle, from which mobs appear in the WoW testing arena: here a second one will appear .
  4. Let's meet him and switch to him only after finishing off the first one.
