Find a parcel without a tracking number by last name. Russian Post tracking

Aliexpress is one of the largest trading platforms, which has no equal in our country. This site has a number of advantages. This includes consumer rights protection, a huge range of products, and free delivery offered by a large number of sellers. But in order to fully use all the benefits of Aliexpress, you need to know some of the secrets of this site. Even if at first glance it seems that it is easy to understand all the information on the trading platform, in fact this is not entirely true. Enough information is provided both about the goods and about the sellers (ratings, reviews), but often poor-quality translation from Chinese does not make it possible to objectively evaluate some characteristics.

What you need to know to make profitable purchases on Aliexpress:

  • Opening a dispute with the seller is important to do this on time;
  • Cancel the order before payment;
  • Cancel the order after payment;
  • Choose a product at the best price.

Let's start with the first point.

Opening a dispute on Aliexpress

You need to open a dispute on the site in the following cases:

  • If the goods did not arrive on time;
  • If the product does not match the stated description;
  • If the product is not tracked (without tracking number).

We will tell you about parcels without a track in more detail. The parcel from the seller from the aliexpress website must have its own tracking number. It is the parcel track that gives guarantees to the buyer and provides the opportunity to track the movement of the goods. But there are cases (and they are not uncommon) when the seller sends a parcel without a track.

What to do if the parcel from AliExpress seems to have been sent, but there is no tracking number (or there is one, but it’s fake):

  • First of all, say “No!” panic - if the parcel does not have a tracking number, this does not mean that the parcel will not arrive. Without a track, the buyer, of course, will not find information about the movement of the goods, but in the case of an honest seller, the parcel can quite likely arrive safely on time;
  • Keep track of time so that if something happens, you can open a dispute with the seller in time. An open dispute is disadvantageous for the seller, as this negatively affects his rating on the site. According to statistics, 90% of sellers on Aliexpress are honest people, so often money for a package that did not arrive, or arrived but does not correspond to the description at all, is returned to the buyer, regardless of the country where he lives.
  • First, before placing an order, you need to carefully study the information on the product card. Very often it is already indicated there that the product does not have a tracking number.

Typically, a group of products whose price is a small amount does not have a tracking number. These are trinkets that cost less than 10, or even 5 dollars. It would look strange if, with free delivery for the buyer and a low price of the product, the seller would pay about one and a half dollars for a parcel with a tracking number. Goods with a normal price are almost always sent with a tracking number. Buyers themselves are often confused - it is important to know that even with a track, the parcel is tracked exclusively to the territory for which the order was placed. Upon arrival of the goods in the destination country, the following information will be issued - import into the destination country. And already on the territory of your country you just need to wait for a notification from the post office. If, several days before the final delivery date indicated by the seller, there is no information that the parcel was delivered to the post office, then you can and should open a dispute with the seller and indicate the reason (the dispute contains a list of reasons).

From a technical point of view, there is nothing difficult about opening a dispute with the seller. To do this, you just need to log into the site under your registered name, go to the history of your orders and find the one you need. By going to the order card, information about it will be visible, and on the side there will be the inscription “Open Dispute”. In order for the dispute to be opened on time, you need to carefully monitor the order fulfillment time. The order itself contains a reminder about the expiration time - you need to focus on it. Visually, the page on which the dispute is opened looks like this: (photo 1)

There are also often cases when the seller gives a tracking number, but there is not a single letter in it. If such a track is provided, the buyer should immediately understand that the track is “fake”. This is what sellers do who want to “please” the buyer and not spend money on shipping the goods. Often such representatives of Chinese Internet commerce turn out to be not entirely honest - here you need to be extremely careful and immediately open a dispute as soon as time runs out. Sometimes sellers warn their customers that the track number is fake, but in turn they undertake to return the money if the goods do not arrive on time. In such cases, the buyers themselves often win - they often receive both money for the goods not received and the goods themselves, but not on the received date, but later.

Cancel order before payment

The range of goods on Aliexpress is quite wide and most of the goods are duplicated. That is why quite often a situation arises when a buyer places an order, and, looking further through the products, finds a similar item at a lower price. Then the question of canceling the order arises. By clicking the “Buy Now” button, but without paying for the goods, the buyer has the right to refuse it. To do this, in principle, you do not need to do anything at all - the system will do everything automatically. The order will be listed as unpaid and will be automatically deleted after a certain time. If the seller asks questions through a special form, you can answer that you are no longer interested in the product. There is nothing wrong or difficult about canceling an order before payment.

Cancellation of order after payment

There are several reasons for refusing an order. All of them are indicated in a special form and will be visible when the order is cancelled. If the cancellation occurs for reasons of the seller - the product has become more expensive or is out of stock, then, in principle, the trading platform system itself will help here. The seller will not indicate the tracking number of the purchase and after a few days the money will be returned to the buyer’s account (electronic or real bank account). If there are personal reasons for canceling the order, then you can only negotiate with the seller. Cancellation can only be made before the item has been dispatched. It is important to know the following - you can request cancellation only one day after payment. On the first day, the payment is verified by the system, so other actions cannot be performed. It is better to resolve the issue of order cancellation with the seller kindly: ask for cancellation in personal correspondence, indicate an objective reason. In this case, if the goods have not yet been shipped, the seller can meet halfway and the issue will be resolved. To request cancellation of an item, you must click the Cancel Order button. Visually it is located here: (photo 2).

If the seller approves the cancellation, the money will soon be returned to the buyer. If not, then you will have to wait for the goods and then open a dispute.

Shopping on Aliexpress is basically safe - there is a buyer protection system, there are guarantees of refunds in different situations. And even when the product is delivered to its intended destination, if its quality does not meet the provided characteristics, sellers on Aliexpress return part of the money spent on the purchase.

Russian Post parcel tracking

The Russian Post parcel tracking system allows all clients of this company to check their postal status online. The system quickly generates data and provides all available information about the parcel and where it is currently located.

Russian Post parcel tracking numbers

Russian Post parcel tracking codes differ in types and can have different appearances.

  1. Packages, small parcels and registered letters are tracked using a 14-digit number.
  2. Parcels and parcels are assigned a special code which consists of 4 letters and 9 numbers:
    • The first 2 letters indicate the type of shipment
    • 9 digits - unique departure code
    • The last 2 letters indicate the country from which the parcel was sent
  3. Parcels EMS - international express delivery of items. The tracking number for EMS parcels is the same as for regular international shipments, except for the fact that the code begins with the letter E

Examples of parcel tracking numbers:

  • 14568859621458 - internal parcel tracking code
  • CQ---US (CQ123456785US) – parcel or small item from the USA, postal package
  • RA---CN (RA123456785CN) – parcel from China
  • RJ---GB (RJ123456785GB) – parcel from the UK
  • RA---RU (RA123456785RU) - if the parcel was not registered before entering the territory of the Russian Federation, Russian Post can assign an internal tracking number.

Russian Post tracking numbers are compiled in accordance with the international S10 standard, allowing parcels to be tracked by both the sender and the recipient, and the implementation of the Russian Post electronic tracking system makes this even easier.

How to track a Russian Post parcel?

In order to find out where your package is, you need to pay attention to the following.

  1. For information about estimated arrival time and other details, you must use the Russian Post tracking number. This is a special tracking code that is unique for any package. It must be provided to you by the sender (online store, company or individual).
  2. Fill in the search field located at the top of the web page with this tracking code.
  3. Click the “Track” button and wait for the report to be ready.

Russian Post tracking

Russian Post tracks both parcels sent within the Russian Federation and international shipments, including EMS express mail. Domestic Russian Post shipments are tracked using a 14-digit track code, the first six digits indicate the sender's postal code. International shipments of Russian Post begin and end with 2 letters, the first two indicate the type of parcel, and the last two indicate the sender's country.

How to track a parcel in Russia?

Tracking a Russian Post parcel in the Russian Federation is quite simple. In order to start tracking your parcel, you need to have the parcel tracking code on hand. Russian Post tracks shipments using 14-digit slate tracking codes for domestic parcels and 13-digit codes for international parcels. To quickly and easily track your Russian Post parcel, enter the parcel's track number in the field above and BoxTracker will check your parcel and determine its location.

How to find a parcel by Russian Post tracking number

Russian Post parcels are located by postal tracking number. Domestic tracking numbers contain 14 digits, starting with the postal code of the sender or the department that issued the package. For example, if a parcel was sent from Moscow from the Russian Post office on Shelepikhinskaya Embankment with an index of 123290, then the departure code will look like 12329000000000. International parcels processed by Russian Post can be tracked using a standardized 13-digit code, typical for international shipments for postal services around the world. The first two letters indicate the type of item, then 9 unique digits of the item, and the last two letters indicate the sender's country code.

Parcel tracking ZA..LV, ZA..HK

This type of parcel differs from other international shipments in that these parcels are handled using a simplified system thanks to the cooperation of the Russian Post with the most popular online store for Russian citizens - Aliexpress. Thanks to this cooperation, the procedure for registering parcels with Aliexpress has been simplified, making shipment faster and cheaper. Such parcels have tracking codes like ZA000000000LV, ZA000000000HK.

Parcel tracking ZJ..HK

Parcels with a tracking code starting with ZJ are parcels of purchases made by Russians from the Joom online store. Just as in the case of Aliexpress, Joom entered into a partnership with Russian Post, thereby reducing the cost of delivering parcels from Joom, as well as significantly speeding up the shipping process itself from registration to delivery time.

When tracking, Joom parcels can have one of three statuses:

  • Parcel sent
  • The parcel arrived at the office
  • The parcel has been received by the addressee

Tracking parcels from China

Postal parcels from China may not have complete information about the location of the parcel, but you will have the most important information at your fingertips. The main stages of tracking will be available to you, and this is the most important thing. Parcels from China along their route pass through postal centers in Latvia and Hong Kong, which is why the letters LV and HK are assigned at the end of the track code, not CN.

What to do if you can’t track your parcel?

There may be several reasons why the track number may not be tracked. Most of these reasons are easily solvable, and sometimes do not require special solutions. The main reasons why a package is not tracked by track number:

  1. Not enough time has passed since the parcel was sent and the number has not yet entered the database. Sometimes it happens that the track number is not tracked until 10 days from the day the parcel was sent. The main thing here is to be patient and wait until the parcel begins to be tracked in the system.
  2. The tracking number is incorrect. In this case, you need to check the tracking number again with the seller or sender. Also check that the number is spelled correctly. You may have made a mistake when copying or typing a number on the keyboard.

In any case, you should not worry, although the reasons why the track code is not tracked are not limited to those listed, there is always a solution. As a rule, all parcels reach the addressee, and in extreme cases, you can always open a dispute in the online store and you will get your money back.

So far, my international purchases through online stores have arrived without problems. In any case, there were no questions at all regarding the delivery of parcels from iherb.com. Usually purchases arrived in 17-20 days and the tracking number was never useful. So until now, I haven’t asked myself the question of whether it’s possible to track a parcel without a tracking number if it gets stuck somewhere between Ukrposhta branches. Apparently in vain. I decided why overpay for tracking and the last few times I chose the cheapest method. That is, without a tracking number.

However, as they say, even an old woman can get screwed. Judging by the email from iherb.com, my parcel has been in Ukraine since April 10, but it is not possible to determine exactly where it has been for the last 12 days.

What can you do?

Option 1 – Ukrposhta call center

No matter how Soviet post offices look, some Internet technologies have also appeared at Ukrposhta. In particular, calling an operator directly from the browser. On any page of the Ukropochta website, an icon with an image of a telephone handset flashes on the right side of the screen. Just click on it.

They responded surprisingly quickly. And no robots or redirects, just a real person. Which, however, upset me, explaining that it is impossible to track the parcel without a tracking number. That is, NO way. The only option is to contact your post office. Suddenly the problem is not in the parcel, but in the delivery of the notice. Here, by the way, you can find out the phone number of your branch, if you remember the index.

Option 2 – call the branch immediately

To do this, you still need to find out your work number. Which turned out to be not very easy. Despite the fact that there seems to be a map on the Ukrposhta website, it works somehow sideways and does not even allow you to find the branch number at the address. I’m generally silent about phones. Thanks to the Internet for a sea of services for all occasions.

Contacts and opening hours of branches by city are on the website ukrpost.in.ua, you just need to know the exact address. Therefore, it’s worth starting with a map and checking the house number where your branch is located. Next, click on the desired line and get the phone number and working hours.

In fact, the only thing the department employee can do is check whether the package has arrived in your name. You shouldn't count on more. Here, too, they will not be able to track the parcel without a tracking number.

Option 3 - personal presence and a little blackmail

In an ideal world, if your parcel is at the post office and they can tell you about it by phone. But reality, as always, pleases with the amount of insanity. Therefore, the most effective way is to take your passport, a list of investments and a payment receipt. (Instructions for those who don’t know where to find and).

I did just that, determined in advance not to retreat and to get at least some answers. Handing my passport through the window at the post office, I mentioned that the sender had sent a notification that the parcel would be delivered to Ukraine on April 9. This is not entirely true, but as an oral argument it worked in my favor. In fact, when confirming payment, iherb.com only indicates the approximate date of receipt.

The Ukrposhta employee diligently checked the receipt logs of parcels and parcels for about 15 minutes. Then she confidently said - NO parcels.

There was nothing to lose, so I asked a “control” question: how many days after sending can I apply for a search. The employee avoided a direct answer, but the question itself had some kind of magical effect. The woman got up and went to the back room to manually check unclaimed mail...

AND OH MIRACLE! 3 minutes later she returned with my parcel))). It turns out that she came to the department even earlier than the specified date - on April 8th. No comments needed...

Naturally, if I had limited myself to a phone call to the department, the parcel would still have been quietly lying in the back room.

Option 4 – write an application to search for the parcel

There are no clear instructions on the official website about how many days after sending the parcel you can write a statement. Employees are also not very willing to discuss this issue. But on one of the forums I found a mention that Ukrposhta gives itself 60 days to deliver international items. However, you can communicate with the head of the department about searching for the parcel after 30 days. It may very well be that your package will be miraculously visualized)).

To start looking for the “lost thing”, go to the department better prepared. The questions and answers section on the Ukrposhta website contains the following documents:

- payment receipt (copy/original). If you're paying online, you'll need to print an invoice from online banking or find a receipt on the merchant's website. It is better to print in two copies;

— order details:

  • Category. Depending on the weight, international postal items (IPO) are divided into “parcels” weighing from 2 kg and “small packages” weighing less than 2 kg;
  • List of attachments;
  • Sender and recipient addresses;
  • Name (in my case International Airmail) and type of delivery (air or ground).

All this from iherb.com comes to email immediately after sending. All that remains is to print.

- passport. This is logical and you are unlikely to forget it)));

— 2 copies of passport! (nobody mentions them, and the post office, as a rule, refuses to make photocopies). You need to photocopy the 1st and 2nd pages + registration.

Why can't you track a parcel without a tracking number?

Parcels without a tracking number are called unregistered, that is, when they arrive at the Ukrainian Post Office from customs, they do not have their own identifier. Of course, the department assigns an internal number to such a shipment, but no one will tell you it. This is proprietary information that is used solely for internal records.

Obviously, now the question “is it worth paying extra for a track number” becomes rhetorical for me. Of course, tracking will not make the parcel go faster, but the track number solves several problems:

  1. Gives information about the status of your order. This calms me down a little, even if there are delays in delivery)).
  2. Controls the work of Ukrposhta and other courier services. Still, it’s much more pleasant to make a scandal when you have evidence in hand. And the track number will allow you to poke your nose and specifically indicate the compartment in which your parcel was last seen.

You can track an international parcel❓

The process of tracking international parcels is our favorite ❤ activity :). There are slight differences from domestic Russian Post shipments. The postal identifier assigned to international parcels usually contains additional characters in the form of capital Latin letters; each country has its own unique set of letters. For example, for Russia it is “RU”, parcels sent from/to China are marked with the letters “CH”, Hong Kong is identified as “HK” - a complete list of countries and postal codes is available on the wikipedia website. Why did we suddenly decide to tell you about these mysterious country codes? The fact is that many users enter only numbers, without letters, into the tracking field, or enter letters in Cyrillic (Russian keyboard layout) - because of these errors, the service cannot find parcel by number. Correctly enter the track number with all the information (letters and numbers) in the designated order + type the letters on the English keyboard - then the site will be able to track the parcel in the database. Examples of format for international parcel numbers:

  • RU201586016HK
  • RU383267170CN
  • NL111741297RU

What to do if Russian Post parcel tracking “failed”? Or possible reasons for the lack of information on the parcel:

  • The first, and also the most common (trust our experience) cause of the problem with the lack of parcel tracking information, is a simply incorrectly entered postal item number. Check the number entered in the tracking field, if you entered everything correctly - read on;)
  • Perhaps the parcel was sent just a few hours ago and that is why the service cannot find the parcel in the Russian Post database. Conclusion: if your parcel was sent no later than 24 hours, we strongly advise against worrying about its loss, everything will be fine :) Try repeating “package tracking” after a while.
  • Parcel tracking failed due to a failure in the service - yes, this can even happen to us :) The fact is that on our website, as well as on the official website of the Russian Post (pochta.ru), there are delays or failures in the operation of electronic databases that lead to time delays in tracking. There is no reason to panic - we apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Remember, we value each of our visitors and do everything to make searching for your parcel as fast and convenient as possible ✈ for you.

What is the parcel tracking number?

The word “track” migrated to us from the English language, its “parent” is tracking (EMS is an abbreviation for the Russian Post division responsible for express delivery. The main difference between ems items and “regular” parcels is the speed of their delivery to the final addressee. Such items are delivered much faster ✈ and usually by courier from hand to hand. The disadvantage of sending EMS parcels is the cost of such services - it is several times higher than standard rates.

ems tracking

To find out where your parcel or letter is, enter the track number on the website. You can also use the mobile application and you will receive notifications about the movement of your parcels.

Where to find the tracking number

You receive a tracking number when sending a parcel, registered letter, registered parcel or registered postcard - it is indicated on the receipt.

The tracking number of shipments within Russia consists of 14 digits. It is entered without spaces or brackets.

Example: 35005145009747

If a parcel, letter or parcel was sent to you, you need to find out the tracking number from the sender (online stores usually indicate it on the order page). When placing orders, whenever possible, ask the seller to issue a registered shipment.

International shipment tracking

The track number for international shipments consists of 13 characters and uses Latin capital letters and numbers. It is also entered without spaces or parentheses. Example: CA123456789RU

According to the Universal Postal Union Technical Standard, only international registered mail items with track numbers starting with the letters R, C, E, V and L can be tracked.

A simple shipment from abroad cannot be tracked throughout Russia - it is not registered in the postal information system.

The Russian Post tracking service accepts most international track numbers. If the service does not accept your number, try tracking it on the post office website of the country of origin.

International shipments can go through transit points (for example, a parcel from New York to Moscow can go through Berlin, which is displayed in the tracking system).

Tracker tracking issues

If there is no information on your track number, perhaps too little time has passed since the moment of sending, and information will appear soon. Please try again later. In order to receive up-to-date information on your parcel, register on the Russian Post website and subscribe to notifications using your track number.

If you do not have a track number, you will not be able to track your parcel or letter. The recipient's address and last name are not suitable for this. In this case, try contacting your post office: perhaps the parcel or letter has already been delivered.

If a lot of time has passed and the parcel, parcel or letter has not arrived, you need to submit a search application.
