  • G-Series of frequency converters - for applications in areas with higher overload capacity (belt conveyors, conveyors, mixers or extruders);

Features of Bosch Rexroth Fe series frequency converters

Frequency converter programmed using the special software Rexroth Converter PC 4. Rexroth Converter PC 4 is an intuitive software for easier and faster parameterization and commissioning of several Fes of the same or similar configuration. The parameters are set using a PC and then written to the frequency converter via a serial RS485 interface.

Additional equipment

Optionally available for the Fe frequency converter:

  • EMC filter that ensures compliance with EMC requirements and suppresses leakage currents caused by conductor capacitance;
  • Line choke, which reduces high-frequency harmonics of the mains current, protects the frequency converter from the negative influences of the network and prevents the converter from having a reverse effect on the supply network;
  • dU/dt filter. Steep edges of output voltage signals in modern converters in combination with long cable Motor connections often result in transients that cause overvoltages at the motor terminals. By installing a dU/dt filter at the converter output, it is possible to reduce this effect and also reduce leakage currents in the motor cable.
  • Braking module (chopper). Required in frequency converters with a rated power of more than 15 kW to control the braking resistor.
  • Braking resistor. To absorb braking energy from frequency converters in regenerative mode, braking resistors with different permissible power inputs are available to choose from.
  • Remote operator console. Thanks to a separate remote control panel, convenient servicing of frequency converters located in a closed control cabinet is possible. For connection there are cables 1 m and 3 m long.
  • PROFIBUS adapter. The PROFIBUS adapter converts the RS485 Fe interface to the PROFIBUS standard and allows communication with a higher-level machine control system. Installation of the adapter is carried out by simply snapping onto the DIN rail.
