Nokia N9 with MeeGo operating system, use

It's time to talk about operating system, used in the Nokia N9 phone, is MeeGo. This mobile OS is notable because the N9 is the first smartphone to use it. And, apparently, the last one. Although no, that would be disingenuous - MeeGo is remarkable in itself. Let's see what's what.

Smartphone Nokia C6-00

Today the usual cell phones are increasingly being replaced by smartphones. Smartphones are superior to their predecessors in many ways - especially in functionality. Next, we will look at the Nokia C6-00 slider, which has an ergonomic design, a fairly high-quality display, moderate cost and other advantages.

What I didn't like

The speaker was ringing. We replaced the speaker, and after some time it started ringing again.

What I liked

Thin, good camera, stylish. It is very convenient that it is only half touch sensitive.

What I didn't like

The touch screen fell apart within 7 months of use, the photos are disgusting, since there is no autofocus and if you photograph the text you can’t make it out, the paint on the body has started to peel off, back cover does not hold on to the mounts, and the screen began to come off, or rather its top film, which is responsible for the sensor, the top four buttons and the entire right side of the buttons work every once in a while, you need to make a huge effort to press, using wi-fi you won’t be able to download anything, if download opens internet

What I liked

I don't see any merit in it...

What I didn't like

almost everything!
Let's compare at least X2 and this one!
X2 costs 4500 and this one costs 9500, BUT for some reason the X2 has a camera, sound, design and reliability much better than this one. Yes, the case is thin, BUT because of this it is large and uncomfortable.
The keyboard is very unusual and uncomfortable.
camera without flash and without autofocus.
The sound is low and of poor quality. reliability is zero. and the worst thing is the equipment!!!
for that kind of money it's just terrible!!!

What I liked

there are no such people!

What I didn't like

there are a lot of them, first of all, the screen gets scratched quickly, the internet is terribly stupid, the phone is more than a year old (I have 1-2 months) it won’t last, it almost fell, consider that there is no phone

What I liked

what is the sensor and buttons?

What I didn't like

I've been using it for a year now. The sensor and the call reset/turn off button are buggy. It often gives an error when you surf the Internet.

What I liked

Weight, color, metal on the back panel, thin, pleasant to the touch, does not scratch much.

What I didn't like

The build quality is disgusting: the next day after purchase the display came off, and the insides of the phone can be seen through the gap. Six months later the touchpad fell off :(

What I liked

Small and light.

What I didn't like

acc. enough for a day, despite the fact that I hardly talk on the phone.
after half a year it started to freeze, then for some reason it stopped and after another half a year the sensor broke

What I liked

For me, the main advantage was that it is white, small and reacts to nails, and is not a smartphone. I bought it right away without hesitation.

What I didn't like

inconvenient settings, sometimes turns off and reboots on its own, the network searches for a long time after being lost, no GPS, no minimizing and no ability to open 2 or more applications.

What I liked

good convenient, clear interface, comfortable in the hand, battery life is good for 2 days, convenient message button, loud clear sound,

What I didn't like

We bought the phone a little over a year ago, the warranty period is 1 year, 1-2 months after the end of the warranty period it broke down touch screen, does not respond to touch. Now, in order to make a phone call, you need to reboot it; after a few minutes, the sensor completely stops responding. Although you may have come across an unsuccessful model. The second big minus is the battery. It lasts for a maximum of 1 day if the phone is not used very actively. I have to charge it every day.

What I liked

Nice appearance

What I didn't like

It’s very thin and light, but that’s what attracted me at first. actually inconvenient. absolutely stupid interface. just one alarm clock

What I liked

works after several falls

What I didn't like

1-The battery heats up when charging.
2-The screen is not very sensitive.
3-No autofocus.
4-WiFi almost always doesn’t work.
5-Battery doesn't work well.
6-It is slow in 3D games.

What I liked

killer stupid model...(not sewn 5 pixel camera)

What I didn't like

The camera is not ok, but for Nokia in general, it’s not bad. little built-in memory. I’ve been using it for a year now, and for about 2 months I’ve been connecting to the computer only via a card reader - if via USB, the computer sees it exclusively as a camera.
Six months after the purchase, the sensor was cut off. had to be sent to service center to Kyiv for two weeks. changed the glass. Now another six months have passed and again the same problem: the sensor this time almost completely does not work. I’m generally aggressive and when you spend 20 minutes trying to send a message, I get very angry.

Touch screen: There are two types of touch displays: resistive and capacitive.
Resistive displays consist of two transparent plates that make electrical contact with each other at the point of pressure. Such displays react to mechanical force using any object. Devices equipped with such displays are equipped with special wands - styluses, which are convenient to operate the device.

The disadvantage of such a display is that the screen is highly susceptible to scratches and abrasions; when operating with your fingers, you need to make an effort for the device to react.

Second type touch displays– capacitive, devoid of these disadvantages, because were originally developed for direct finger control, without the use of any third-party objects or tools.

At each corner of the display there are electrodes that supply the same amount of energy to the conductive layer of the display. alternating voltage. When touched by a finger or other object capable of conducting current and having its own electrical capacitance, current leakage occurs. The closer the point of contact is to the electrode, the smaller the electrical resistance display and, accordingly, the current strength will be greater.

Devices with such displays respond exclusively to hand control; touching the surface of other objects, due to the absence of their own electrical capacitance, will not lead to the closure of the contact point-electrode circuit and will not have any effect on the device. If customizable, such a display can be configured not even to touch with a finger, but only to bring it to the surface.

An undeniable advantage of such displays is their very high resistance to mechanical damage, due to the possibility of using fairly thick and durable surface glasses.

Another advantage is the very high accuracy of determining touch coordinates, down to one pixel. When controlling the hand, of course, such precision is unclaimed, but when using special conductive styluses it opens up great potential opportunities.

Capacitive displays are more transparent (about 90%) than resistive displays, whose transparency does not exceed 85%, which makes it possible to display a higher-quality image on their surface.

The physical resource of capacitive displays is at least 200 million clicks, which approximately corresponds to 6.5 years of clicks with an interval of 1 second. Surface contamination with non-conductive substances does not affect their operation.

The relative disadvantages of capacitive touch displays are the need for use in mobile devices large displays, due to the need to ensure comfortable hand control and higher cost compared to resistive ones.
