For example, one of the Minsk online stores offers an iPhone 6 without Touch ID for 520 rubles. At the same time, the market price of such a smartphone with 16 GB of internal memory is from 804 rubles.

When asked about the originality of the device, we were told that the smartphone had undergone a factory restoration process at one of Apple’s “subsidiaries” (it seems they decided not to write about this on the website).
According to the seller, apart from the non-working fingerprint scanner, the gadget has no other differences from the original iPhone 6. The warranty is also provided in one of the Minsk service centers.
In the third online store, Apple smartphones are also inexpensive - only 580 rubles for an iPhone 6 without Touch ID.
The store itself assured that the gadget was restored at the official Apple factory (this is also indicated on the website). As in previous cases, the warranty is offered for one year at a private service center.
What kind of refurbished smartphones are they?
Apple does produce refurbished iPhones. These are used devices that the owners returned due to a malfunction or under an exchange program for a newer device (trade-in).
Such gadgets are sent to Apple partner factories, where, if necessary, all faulty parts in the devices are replaced, then installed new display, battery and case.
After this, the smartphones undergo factory tests, receive new serial numbers and are then packaged. It comes with new headphones and charger. There should be no problems with such devices. The packaging must be marked REF or RFB.

This method was first described about a year ago, but for some reason it passed by most thematic resources, although the method really works, as I was convinced of from my own experience.
So, the best way to start is to delete all the prints and set them up again, as described in last year. After this, restart your smartphone, ending all applications first. Maybe these steps are unnecessary, but let them be for the purity of the experiment. Now let's go to Settings -> Touch ID & Password-> Enter the password, if necessary, and get into the very menu where your fingerprints are stored.
Now - attention - no more manipulations or transitions are needed, just touch the scanner the same way you do to unlock your device. Please note that when you hold your finger on the sensor known to the system, one of the prints in the list on the screen illuminated. This is the fingerprint of this finger, and you have just performed an additional scan of it, the results of which iOS saved somewhere in the system on the chip.

Finally, the third option, the most interesting. It is shrouded in mystery and whether it is true, we do not know.
Some online resources express the opinion that such iPhones are indeed produced at Apple factories as refurbished ones, but without Touch ID. At the same time, they are not officially supplied to us, so such devices can be called “gray”. But the trick is this: these smartphones work with all SIM cards, are activated, registered and updated in iTunes, and are not blocked. Sellers even allow you to activate them on the spot! The cost of such pleasure is 10-11 thousand rubles at the time of writing for an iPhone 5s. Wholesalers receive significant discounts.
What kind of unprecedented generosity? On the Internet, we found an assumption that Apple is in this way trying to increase the share of devices sold, even if they are not officially supplied to us, but pass through third parties. In this case, this is not important; what is more important is that the demand for such devices is extremely high and increases the overall iPhone sales, which is extremely important for Apple. We repeat, without official information, this is just speculation and nothing more, but even if it is true, it will not make customers any worse. On the contrary, it becomes possible to purchase an iPhone at a low cost. Well, whether it’s worth buying it is up to you to decide, because we don’t know the truth.
