It’s good not only to send a free postcard to your acquaintances or friends via email, but also receive it to your email address. This is what is called “a small thing, but it’s still nice” and it makes your soul lighter.

Unfortunately, the Yandex.Postcards service is currently closed. BUT on the eve of the holidays you can send a postcard for free directly from the Yandex home page(postcard text – no more than 140 characters).

I can recommend someone else free service– “Mail ru Postcards”, which requires mail on mail.ru, more about this service

A card with a cute design and some text sent via email makes a much better impression than plain text.

To congratulate your loved ones and friends on the holidays, you can use the postcards located on the eve of the holidays on the Yandex main page.

Yandex postcards on the Yandex main page

In this option you have

  • maybe your own account on Yandex (that is, your own mail),
  • or it may NOT be - you can still send a postcard.

In other words, you can send a postcard from the Yandex main page without having your own mail on Yandex.

Let's go to home page Yandex:

and in the right corner click on the edge with Postcards (Fig. 1). If there is no corner with Postcards, then the holiday, according to Yandex, has not yet arrived.

Rice. 1. Yandex Postcards on the Yandex main page

After this, we are given the opportunity to choose a postcard for the New Year, because now it’s exactly New Year. On other holidays, there will be other themed cards in the right corner on the Yandex main page.

By clicking on the corner on the Yandex main page (number 1 in Fig. 2), we will see the “Congratulate your loved ones with a postcard” window:

Rice. 2. Selecting a postcard from the Yandex main page

4 in Fig. 2 – cross to close the window if you change your mind about sending a postcard.

Select and click on the postcard you like (number 2 in Fig. 2). The selected postcard will appear with a yellow “Write” button:

Rice. 3. “Write” postcard button to proceed to filling out the postcard

Rice. 4. Fill out the Yandex.Postcard

1) From whom (number 1 in Fig. 4) – your name. If you want, you can add both a middle name and a last name to your name.

2) To whom (number 2 in Fig. 4) – without errors, indicate the e-mail of the person to whom we are sending the postcard. You can open another tab in the browser, find and copy the address (rkfdbifvb Ctrl+C) of the postcard recipient. And then paste the address (Ctrl+V) into Yandex.Postcard.

3) (number 3 in Fig. 4) We write a message of no more than 140 characters.

4) (number 4 in Fig. 4) Enter the captcha (spam protection, which serves to confirm that the message is sent by a person and not a robot for mailing). If the numbers in the picture are illegible, click on the “Show another picture” button and enter the numbers from the picture.

5) (number 5 in Fig. 4) Click on the “Submit” button.

If the postcard is filled out correctly from the point of view of Yandex, then the message will appear: “A postcard for (hereinafter goes the e-mail of the recipient of the postcard) has been sent” and two buttons will be available: “Send another” and “Close”. You can click on “Close”. That's all. However, there are nuances.

Received a postcard, how to read it?

The recipient to whom you sent your postcard will see a message from Yandex in their mail marked “Postcard for you” with approximately the following content:

You have received a postcard from the user Nadezhda.
She is waiting for you until January 20 at:
http://www.yandex.ru/?card=2c90b01f3144aabfbf01f19d0fd6174c

If you are the recipient of such a postcard, then the question arises:

2) After this you will be taken to the Yandex main page. In the middle of this page you will see a postcard with email address sender (sender's email).

3) Click on this postcard.

4) The postcard will turn to the reverse side, where you can read the text of the message.

Everything written below is now history. Everything changes quickly on the Internet...

We write a postcard directly in your Yandex mail (the service is closed)

This is possible if you have your own Yandex account (that is, if you have mail).

First, go to your Yandex mail. If it is not there, then it is written about how to create your own mail on Yandex.

Rice. 5. Yandex Postcards in Yandex mail

1) Having logged into your mail on Yandex, click on the “Write” button (1 in Fig. 5).

2) The “Postcard” tab will appear, click on it (2 in Fig. 5).

3) Choose the theme of the postcard (there are few of them for now, there will be more over time):

  • "Congratulations",
  • "Write me",
  • "I love",
  • "Thank you",
  • "Other".

I clicked on the “Others” tab (3 in Fig. 5). Postcards from the selected topic will appear below.

I chose the postcard indicated by number 4 in Fig. 5. The postcard is called “Time to Dream” - this title automatically appears in the subject line of the letter (6 in Fig. 5). Instead, you can enter your own subject line.

5) Fill in the “To” field (5 in Fig. 5).

IMPORTANT: we write the e-mail WITHOUT ERROR in the field marked with number 5 in Fig. 5. Otherwise it will turn out like in A.P.’s story. Chekhov, the boy sent a letter to the address “to his grandfather in the village.”

The letter will not reach even if there is one error in the recipient’s e-mail. To avoid this, find the required e-mail, select it, press the hot keys Ctrl+C, place the cursor in the “To” line (5 in Fig. 5), then press the hot keys Ctrl+V.

6) You can change the name of the topic in the letter by clicking in the field marked with number 6 in Fig. 1. After the cursor is in this field, erase the old name and enter a new one.

The main work has been done. However, before sending the postcard, let’s take care of the important details, there are only 6 of them (see Fig. 6).

Rice. 6. Please pay attention to important points before sending Yandex postcards

1) After a postcard is selected, its name automatically appears in the subject line of the letter (number 6 in Fig. 5). In addition, the congratulation text automatically appears at the bottom of the postcard. Of course, it can be changed, which is what I did (number 1 in Fig. 6).

2) If you want to add a postcard (photo, large text, something else), then click on the “Attach files” button (number 2 in Fig. 6).

A window will open in which you will need to find required file on your computer, and then click on the “Open” button in this window.

3) If the buttons marked 4, 5, 6 in Fig. 6 You are not interested, then click on the “Submit” button.

4) A letter with a postcard may end up in Spam, so it makes sense to pay attention to the buttons marked 4 and 5 in Fig. 6.

In the case when you need to “remind me if a response to the letter is not received within 5 days,” then put a tick in front of such a message, indicated by number 4 in Fig. 6.

5) If you want to give Yandex the task “notify about the receipt of a letter,” then check the box next to this option, marked with number 5 in Fig. 6.

6) I like the functionality of the button when it is better to send a postcard (number 6 in Fig. 6). By clicking on the “today” link (the same number 6), you can select the sending date and even the sending time - it’s very convenient, you can set the sending on any date without the fear of forgetting or missing it.

7) At the end, don’t forget to click on the big yellow “Submit” button (number 3 in Fig. 6).

By the way, the Yandex Postcards service, which since 2012 until December 27, 2013 was available at http://cards.yandex.ru, is now closed and no longer supported. In honor of this event, this article was completely rewritten on December 30, 2013, updated in February 2016 and December 30, 2016.

They say that it is not a gift that is dear, but attention. Therefore, our task is to send a postcard to MailRu for free.

The Mail ru Postcard project in its old version is closed. Now you can send a postcard directly from your Mail.ru mail, as well as from Odnoklassniki or from the My World service.
Before moving on to Mail ru postcards, I recommend the audio greeting service:

You can send a Mail Ru postcard from the Mail Ru service that is more convenient for you: Mail, My World, Odnoklassniki. Below we will look at how to send a postcard directly from your Mail ru mail.

then you can click on the appropriate button with text, for example, “Send a postcard in a letter.” You can also read:

“And now we are ready to offer you more convenient and modern services that will help you congratulate your friends and family: Odnoklassniki, Mail, Moi Mir.”

Rice. 1 A postcard can be sent through any of the three Mail ru services: Odnoklassniki, Mail, My World

Of the three proposed options (Odnoklassniki, Mail, My World), we will consider the option with mail.

How to send a postcard to Mail.ru directly from your email

Important: before sending a postcard to any recipient, let's test how it works and see what the recipient ultimately sees.

Testing is necessary in order to check what exactly the recipient will receive, how it will look, otherwise it may turn out that “they wanted the best, but it turned out as usual.”

  • We will test it on ourselves, that is, we will send a test postcard, for example, from our address nadezda @ mail.ru to the same address nadezda @ mail.ru.
  • If the results of the experiment suit us, we will repeat the same thing, but to send a postcard to Mail.ru we will no longer enter our address, but the address of the recipient of the postcard.

1) First, you need to go to your Mail ru mail, enter your username and password.

2) To send a postcard, click on the “Write a letter” button (1 in Fig. 2):

Rice. 2 How to send a postcard to Mail ru

3) On the right side of the mail, click on the “Postcards” tab (3 in Fig. 2). You will see more than 50 postcards, sorted by categories:

  • Happy holiday,
  • Happy birthday,
  • With love,
  • Just like that
  • Retro,
  • From September 1st!

For example, select a “Happy New Year” postcard in the “Happy Holidays” category.

Let's go over the fields that you should pay attention to when sending a postcard to Mail.ru, or rather, according to the numbers in Fig. 1.

1 in Fig. 2 – click on the “Write a letter” button.

2 in Fig. 2 – by clicking on the “Styles” button, you can select a background for the letter (colored background or background with a pattern). In Fig. 2, the “Winter” style was selected for the background, with Santa Claus. Styles can be searched by clicking on the small triangles highlighted with red arrows (number 10 in Fig. 2). You can NOT select a style, that is, skip this step.

3 in Fig. 2 – click on the “Postcards” button. Select a postcard by clicking on the small triangles that are marked in Fig. 2 red arrows (number 10).

So, the letter selected beautiful style(letter backing) and a cute card. Now the muse is visiting us: we print the text of the congratulations for the postcard.

4 in Fig. 2 – “Signatures” button. If you click on it, you can make an automatic signature for each letter to Mail.ru. Or you can edit the signature that already exists.

The problem is that you forget about this signature over time. And it continues to be automatically inserted into every letter. Over time, information tends to become outdated, so you should not put “extra” information in the signature.

5 in Fig. 2 – “To” field. We print the e-mail of the recipient of the postcard without errors, otherwise how will he (the recipient) receive it?

You can send the first postcard to yourself as a test. Then you can enter your e-mail in the “To” field.

6 in Fig. 2 – “Subject” field. You can leave the suggested topic or enter your own topic.

7 in Fig. 2 – button. You can find, for example, a sound file on your computer and attach it to a letter.

8 in Fig. 2 – “Cloud” button Mail ru. By clicking on it, you can attach a file from the Cloud to the letter.

9 in Fig. 2 – We check whether everything is done perfectly and send it by clicking on the “Submit” button.

10 in Fig. 2 – triangle for moving through the columns with Postcards and Styles.

4) After clicking on the “Submit” button, the “Enter the code from the image” window will appear. You need to enter the code from the picture to “confirm your human origin,” that is, the message is NOT sent by a robot. If the code is not legible, you need to click on the “I don’t see the code” link to replace it with another one.

5) If everything is fine, then we repeat all the steps again, but now we fill in the “To” field not with our e-mail, but enter the e-mail of the recipient of the postcard.

It would take a long time to describe the procedure for sending a postcard to Mail.ru, but in reality it can be done in a few minutes. If you don't believe me, check it yourself.

Congratulations on any holiday with a postcard have always been considered a sign of respect and attention to loved ones, friends and just acquaintances. And if earlier postal services were needed to deliver such cards, today there are electronic cards with which you can congratulate your loved ones quickly and in a timely manner. Moreover, such a congratulation cannot get lost anywhere, and will arrive exactly on time, and the process of creating an electronic message itself can be quite interesting.

How to make an e-card on a computer

Creating postcards in electronic form is not a complicated process and is carried out as follows:

  • V search engine On the Internet, a request is entered for a site that creates and sends electronic cards (for example: postcard.ru or mail.ru);
  • With the help of special servers, a postcard is created to your liking, which you can decorate with different patterns, as well as select the most attractive template, select color scheme With beautiful font for the text of congratulations;
  • If desired, electronic cards can be supplemented with musical accompaniment; it can be selected from a music catalog to suit the recipient’s taste;
  • to create the most interesting thematic plot, you can use a graphic editor, but the idea of congratulations must be thought out in advance;
  • the finished postcard is placed in an interactive letter and then sent to its destination.

So that creating postcards in electronic form does not cause difficulties, and also has beautiful view It is important to consider the following points:

  • It is best to use a graphic editor if you have certain knowledge and skills in working with this program, since studying it can take a lot of time;
  • creating postcards using a ready-made template will be much easier and faster, and you can adjust it according to your taste;
  • It is best to make postcards that are neutral in content, which will appeal not only to their creator, but also to those for whom they are intended;
  • When creating postcards, the main thing is to know when to stop and not to overdo it with the number of pictures, the amount of text, and also to maintain a certain color scheme.

But in any case, no matter what kind of e-cards you end up with, they will be wonderful congratulations on the holiday of your loved ones, because they are beautiful, impressive and unusual.

How to make a postcard in Word

You can make a postcard in Word, but here I want to point out why it’s better not to do this.

Word is text editor, therefore, with graphic objects, some difficulties arise when arranging them. And the result can only be seen by opening the postcard in . And if your recipient does not have this program, then he will not be able to see the postcard, or it will open in a distorted form in another word processor. The expected pleasant impression will be ruined.

But what should we do? We will use a program for creating presentations - PowerPoint. A postcard created in PowerPoint can be saved as a picture and will be available for viewing on any computer and on the Internet.

How to Make a Postcard in PowerPoint

Creating a postcard will only take a few steps:

1 Open the PowerPoint presentation program

First option

  • Start - All programs - Microsoft Office- Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (you may have a different version, but it doesn’t matter - all actions are universal)

Second option

  • There is a search in the start menu. Start typing the name there Microsoft programs PowerPoint and if it is installed on your computer, you will see it in the search results.

2 Select a layout

Since we are using a program to create presentations, the original slide will have markup. We don't need her. Let's remove it.

Home – Layout – Blank Slide

3 Set the background image

Let's take some beautiful drawing as the background for our postcard. Go to the tab Design – Background Styles – Background Format

In the settings window on the tab Fill choose Pattern or texture

In section Paste from: press the button File and select the desired picture from the folder. Click the button Insert and press the button Close in the window Background format.

The selected image will be stretched to fit the slide. The background is ready.

Now we can do a little magic on our card to give it an even more original look. To do this, add several to the slide additional elements: Santa Claus, the text of his congratulations and the title of our postcard. Well, to make it clear that the congratulations are from Santa Claus, let’s make a callout for the text.

4 Add decorations and text

Let's get started. Insert a picture with Santa Claus.

Execute the command Insert – Drawing and move it to the lower left corner. We reduce its size a little.

Making a callout Insert - Shapes. We change the figure to the desired size.

Now you can add congratulations text with the command Insert – WordArt. We select a sample text font and replace it with our congratulations. Adjust the size of the frame with the text to the size of the callout.

We do the title of the postcard in the same way.

Well, the postcard is ready. All that remains is to save it as a picture and you can send it by email.

5 Save the postcard

To save, select the command File - Save As... We give the postcard a name and, most importantly, change the file type to Drawing in JPEG format

Choose Only the current slide.

Now let's save the presentation so we can use it to create other cards.

Video instructions for creating a postcard

Now watch these steps in the video below. From it you will learn: how to insert a picture, change its size, how to add text with congratulations.

It contains: Backgrounds, Santa Clauses, Snowmen, Christmas trees, Decorations, Symbols of the year and text greetings. But selection of preparations for February 23. Still small selection of blanks for March 8. Download and practice creating e-cards

Another selection of New Year's images with transparent backgrounds for quick creation original postcards. Download archive 28 images

By the way, the Microsoft Office package includes a wonderful Publisher program, you can also make a beautiful congratulation in the form of a postcard, I already wrote on the blog in it.

How to search for pictures for a postcard?

To make creating a postcard as easy as possible, look for pictures with transparent backgrounds. Such drawings most often have the format png file or gif. It is preferable to use the first format. It preserves gradients well (smooth color transitions).

To search, go to Yandex. Select search section Pictures(block 1). Enter a key query - what image you are looking for. For example, year of the pig New Year pictures. In the search tips you can select the most suitable query.

Image search in Yandex

You can use filters on the images found. Click Show filters (block 2). An additional panel will open. Now we select the parameters for selecting pictures.

We select drawings by size. For e-card We don't need big sizes. Therefore, I advise you to put Average or Little ones. In the thumbnails of the pictures you will see their true size.

Filtering the size of pictures

Which size is preferable? On average, most monitors have a size of 1366x768. So try not to take larger pictures. Because when inserted onto a slide, it can cover it entirely.

Choose the orientation yourself. Everything is clear here. But in Type e choose white background. It's easy enough to remove.

Filter by background

But it’s still better to choose a picture without a background. To do this in the filter File select PNG.

Filter by file type

Yandex will show drawings based on our selection criteria. In the thumbnails, all pictures will have a white background, but this is not the case. Click on any of them to view in larger size. Now, if on the background instead of white you see squares (chess), then this picture with transparent background.

Displaying a picture with a transparent background in a search engine

It is preferable to use for your greeting card collage. Click on it right button mouse, select a command Copy image and paste it onto the slide.

You can do the same in another search engine.

Creating an animated postcard

The method for creating a static postcard was described above, but you always want something more. Let's try to liven it up a little and add falling snow. To create an animated picture, we need to work a little more and make several slides that differ in the position of the snowflakes on the slides. When quickly changing such slides, the effect of falling snow will be observed.

To save such an effect in a picture, you will need another file format - GIF, which is capable of storing and displaying animation in the browser. But in Power Point There is no animation support when saving to this format. Therefore, in the presentation editor we will make blank frames, and to create animation from them we will use online service. Watch the video tutorial below.

I hope this information is useful to you. Congratulations to everyone on the holidays, future and past!

Friends, if you found this article useful, share it on social networks, buttons below. And also tell us in the comments if you managed to make a postcard?

Dear reader! You have watched the article to the end.

Instructions

A static postcard is convenient because you can send it without thinking about how exactly the recipient will view it (from a computer or phone), and whether he has Flash Player. Draw it yourself using the graphic editor that you know how to use, or download a suitable ready-made image from any free photo bank, and then add it to it in graphic editor congratulatory inscriptions. You can simply draw an image by hand and take a photograph. Finished file ( JPG format or GIF) attach to the message you are sending. To do this, while composing it, click the “Browse” button, go to the folder in which the file is located, select it, and then click the OK button. If the image does not attach automatically, click the “Attach” button and wait until the file is uploaded to the server. After that, making sure that all fields (for address, header and body of the message) are filled out correctly, click the “Submit” button.

The GIF format, unlike JPG, allows simple animation consisting of several images changing in a ring to be placed in a file. The recipient will be able to view such animation on their computer in almost any browser. The ability to display them depends on its model and firmware, and in the absence of such a function, installing one of the new versions of the UC browser will help. To download such images, use, in particular, the site located at the first link listed at the end of the article. Send them by email as indicated above.

Flash cards are distinguished by significantly higher quality animation, which, moreover, can be accompanied by sound effects. You can get to one of the sites where such postcards are available by clicking on the second of the links given at the end of the article. Having selected the desired postcard there (regular or Flash format), fill in the required fields, and a link to it will be sent to the recipient automatically. He can view it by clicking on this link.

Voice cards use a speech synthesizer located on the server. To go to the site with them, click on the third link at the end of the article. Having selected a design option, click on it and a page with an input form will load. Fill out all the fields of this form, including the recipient's address, and most importantly, enter the text that the synthesizer should pronounce. Select background music and voice. Check what happened using the “Listen” button, and then send the result to the recipient (whose computer must have Flash Player installed) by clicking the “Send” button.

It's very simple: I suggest using bright, wise, rare photographs and drawings by the authors, which are not actually postcards, but they are so fascinating that it’s hard to come up with ideas for them wishes or look for suitable quotes or parables- GREAT fun and great holiday
Such a “postcard” and congratulations will be original, unusual and, I am sure, will please the person close to you much more than a familiar picture.
And since you invest your good mood and time into the search and creative process.
By the way: practice has shown that without a good mood it is almost impossible to find really worthwhile pictures. In an inspired mood, the pictures seem to attract themselves and you begin to find them in the most unexpected places.

Where to look for such photos: In this article I will share some of the best links that have been found since we started working on our site and suggest some "fishing spots".
There is no need to rush in this matter, the most important thing is to pay attention to the photographs and immediately save a successful photo or a link to it, slowly creating your collection.

If you like this idea, I invite you to plunge into the world of beauty!

Photo sources for postcards.

Most Favorite Source nice photos- this is, of course, flickr.com. You need to search for photos by keywords(for example: happy, love, flowers) or look at the latest 7 days.
Very convenient:
- go to the page, look through it, click on the ones you like

And then press the button " RELOAD"at the top of the page and watch more!

It’s convenient to view Flickr periodically, a little at a time. Because finding something that catches your eye can be completely unpredictable.
And yet, it takes a lot of time to search for photographic pearls, and therefore I am always happy about sites that publish their successful finds.
Kind over matter - the best site found in this direction. I have already written about it more than once in articles about promotions of positive postcards, remember?
Amazing pictures on Kind over matter can be found by tag photos.

For example, this picture, which the readers of my LJ liked so much, was found thanks to Kind over matter, for which a HUGE thank you to them!

Photo Harmonic discharge author next_in_line "s photostream

and one more:

Photo On winds of North author next_in_line "s photostream

What to wish: The first photo immediately asks for a wish for harmony and integrity, and for the second - more miracles in life and the ability to enjoy every moment of life.

What to do with the images found on Kind over matter ?
We click on the link to the title (or the picture itself), and as a rule, now we can see it in higher resolution. Here you have two options: send a link to it or save it locally and send the picture itself by email (for example).
How to save a picture found on flickr.com:
save the entire web page, and the folder with pictures will contain the photo you need.

A blog that is a pleasure to talk about again and again is The Star Collector
Conveniently, quotes, parables and pictures are collected here at the same time)) Excellent material for congratulations!
Pictures on this site

Here's an example of how this can be used to congratulate a loved one:

Given: picture and quote:
"They say that Leprechauns bury their treasures where the rainbow touches the ground."

Let's add: “I don’t know if this is really so, but I know one thing for sure: there, when you touched my heart, love was born - the most valuable treasure I possess!”

Everyone, someone will be happy to plunge into the life of a pearl hunter and start collecting their collection for electronic greetings,
I wish you good luck and great discoveries!
