- First, you need to flash it with a file whose name contains the word First. For this purpose in normal mode drag the file onto the usbprns2.exe loader. A black window will appear with the word Downloading and dots, or it may appear and immediately disappear, this is normal.
- The MFP display will indicate the firmware download process. Wait until 100%, then the M2070 should automatically reboot (the display will show "Initializing" and you will hear the motor running).
- After rebooting, turn off the MFP and turn it on in forced mode, to do this:
- Hold down the "Stop" button and, while holding it, press the power button.

- "Wait Image" will appear on the screen.

- After the next reboot, remove the cartridge and cover the chip (there are four yellow contacts on the right side) with regular tape.
