Video: How to download video to Android device?
This article will tell you, including all examples and details, how to install Android on your tablet, smartphone, or other devices.
There will also be a lot of tips on this.
Step # 1. Installing and getting ROOT rights
- Click on this button and the program is downloaded;
- Click on the downloaded file and open the Kingo Android ROOT program. (Press "YES" if the system asks for permission to start.);
- Inside the program, we can see that the device is not connected yet. We connect our phone via usb;
- We will also need to enable debug mode (the program itself will contain pictures with instructions on how to do this). If the instructions are not enough for you, then you need to find the "menu for developers" and enable the option "USB debugging";
1.6. After our program has seen the device, the "ROOT" button will appear;
1.7. Click on it. Done! You have received ROOT rights to your device.
Step # 2. Recovery update on your device
The next step is to update Recovery.
Recovery or special boot mode is a special mode on the device, thanks to which you can restore the system or download updates for it.
Installing Recovery
To install Recovery, we will use the ROM Manager application, this program is specially made for easy access to the Recovery system.
- First, we have to go from our gadget to the ROM Manager website;
- Click on the download button and download this application;
- Next, go to downloads and click "Install application";
- We go to the ROM Manager. And we immediately see the "CloclworkMod" button in the main menu.
Click on it and the application is updated to the latest version;
- The top line will contain the model name of your gadget. Click on it;
- Next, Recovery will be installed and downloaded to your device (This action requires an Internet connection);
- Recovery has been updated and you can move on to the next item with peace of mind.
Advice! Use ROM Manager carefully and follow the instructions, do not press unnecessary buttons, otherwise you can turn your phone into a brick.
Step # 3. Data backup
Backup is the saving of your data on the device, it can be partial or complete. In our case, complete.
Start backup
For this, we will also use the same ROM Manager.
- We go to the ROM Manager;
- Then we select the line to save the current ROM. We save the file so that we can find it at any time (write all the names, save the file under a convenient name for us, also set the current date of saving);
- After that, the phone / tablet will perform a standard reboot. All actions will take place as usual;
- Also, the backup will be saved on your device in a specific folder that you specify;
- The backup is complete.
Advice! Do not under any circumstances delete the backup you have saved. If you downloaded Android and something went wrong, you won't be able to do anything back!
Step # 4. Downloading and installing Android
So we moved on to the Android download itself, all the actions that we performed earlier were only preparation for installation.
- We find on the Internet on the computer the program itself - Android. And download this archive to yourself;
- We connect our device on which we want to install Android to the computer (via a usb drive);
- Then we copy the archive to our device, to the internal storage of the phone (Important! The archive does not need to be unpacked);
- Next, go to the ROM Manager and go to the tab with the name of our device. Click on it, see the "reboot" button, click on it. After that, the recovery is rebooted;
- We find in the application a return to the factory settings. We carry out this action. We confirm the execution;
- We do the same when we configure WipeDalvikCache;
- On the screen of your device there will be an item Choose ZIPfromSdcard, click on it;
- We type any name for our file, firmware, after that we press save;
- Press the "Yes - Install" button and perform the operation;
- We are waiting for the started process to end, it may take a couple of minutes;
- We select the "reebot" button, after that the device will restart. The reboot can also take a couple of minutes of your time;
- Done! Now you have Android installed on your phone! My congratulations.
- If you have previously done firmware on your phone, then you should not update the recovery;
- In case of an error, just roll back the phone;
- Perform all actions with a full charge of the phone! What will you do if your phone runs out of power during this process ?;
- Also, select the most current firmware for your device.
Recently, an important event happened within the framework of the Android x86 project - a stable version of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system was released. This means that the latest version of Android is now available for installation on computers and laptops. In this article, we'll show you how to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your computer, as well as how to set up and best use this system on a full computer.
How to install alongside other OS
To install Android 6.0 Marshmallow x86 on your computer or laptop, you need to follow fairly simple instructions. Burning an image to a disc or USB drive:- Download the ISO image of the system from the official site - and bit (direct download links).
- The image can be burned to a disc in the standard way through the CD Burner XP applications for Windows, or using a standard utility in Windows 7 and higher. If you don't want to waste an extra disk, you can create a bootable USB:
- To do this, it is better to use the Linux Live USB Creator (LiLi) application, which can be downloaded for Windows and Linux on the project's official website.
- Run the utility, in step 1, select the USB drive on which you would like to install Android.
- Select the very image that you downloaded earlier.
- Prepare a disk partition for Android. It is better to use the Acronis Disc Director Suite for partitioning the disk. The new version of Android x86 allows you to install systems next to another OS without damaging it. Therefore, you don't even have to worry about the section if you don't want to bother too much.
- When the image is finished writing to the USB drive, if there were no errors, restart your laptop. After turning on and the manufacturer's logo appears on the screen, periodically press the button that brings up a window with alternative boot methods. On ASUS laptops, this is the Esc button, on most PCs - F8 or adjacent buttons from this row. Better check on the Internet. If alternative boot is not available, then enable it in the BIOS, which is usually invoked by the Delete button.
- In the Alternate Start window, select the USB, CD, or DVD drive where you installed Android.
- After that, you will see a window with four options. The first three allow you to run Android in Live CD or Live USB mode - working with the system directly from the disk. The last option starts the installation. We need it exactly.
How to install on a virtual machine
If you do not want to install Android x86 on your computer as a full-fledged system, but would like to try it on a virtual machine, then there is one more instruction for you.
How to install Android x86 6.0 Marshmallow on VirtualBox virtual machine:
- We create a new virtual machine in VirtualBox. We select the type of Linux, Linux version 2.x / 3.x / 4.x (32 or 64 bit) depending on your PC. Also create a virtual partition of at least 2 GB. As a result, the settings should look like this:
Additional settings
LauncherAs an interface shell for Android x86, we can safely recommend ADW Launcher, which offers a lot of settings, and its design is better optimized for the mouse. After installing the launcher, all gestures will become much easier to perform with the mouse, and the desktop will become a little more convenient.
Keyboard
During setup after the first launch, you may notice that switching the language by keyboard shortcut does not work. To fix this, you need to go to the settings in the "Language and input" section and select the layout you need. The Android developers for computers even provided support for a keyboard shortcut to change the language - by default, it's CTRL + Space. By the way, if you need a virtual touch keyboard that is not initially displayed on the screen, then switch the "Show input method" toggle switch in the same layout selection menu.
Many combinations are supported that are necessary for normal operation: copy (CTRL + C), paste (CTRL + V), cut (CTRL + X), the Windows button minimizes all applications and returns to the desktop. On some laptops and computers, the function keys in the F row will work. The PrintScreen button works, which takes a screenshot.
Video
On Android x86 it is better to use a dedicated video player called Dolphin. It better understands the architecture of desktop chips, and also works well with a large number of formats. You can download Dolphin video player for Android x86 at Treshbox.
Battery
To see a more detailed status of the laptop battery, it is better to install the Battary Disc widget, which can be brought to the desktop. The widget displays the battery charge as a percentage.
As you can see, Android 6.0 Marshmallow x86 is already pretty well optimized for most laptops, considering that my device has an AMD chip. I even managed to play the Android port
Other versions and updates
Major changes in Android 6.0 Marshmallow for x86 systems:- updated Linux kernel to version 4.4.12;
- support for hardware acceleration OpenGL ES 3.x for Intel / AMD (radeon / radeonsi) / Nvidia (nouveau) graphics, as well as VMware and QEMU (virgl);
- openGL ES 3.0 support through software rendering with or without other graphics chips;
- support for secure boot via UEFI and installation on a UEFI disk;
- the ability to install on partitions with ext4 / ntfs / fat32 file systems via a text-graphical interface;

- Android 6.0 Marshmallow RC1 (32 bit).
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow RC1 (64 bit)
Android is relatively new, and we all remember how raw and awkward it was. Developers do not sit idly by! Today, many users have an excellent opportunity to download the Android 5.0 firmware for different smartphones and tablets for free, and then quickly update their device.
The differences between the starting and the latest version of the OS are, of course, huge. Google has long ignored the appearance of Android, with tacit consent allowing manufacturers to customize the look of their apps.
Main functions
Material Design
The lack of a standard interface created a number of additional problems. Specialists at Google have decided to make deep changes to the Android interface, which are simply necessary. Thanks to this, the Material Design idea came to life, unifying all Google services and products.
Lock screen and application menu
Now, in order to view notifications or turn off data transfer, you do not need to unlock your smartphone, as it was in earlier versions. In Android 5.0, the lock screen is designed in such a way that the user has easy access to notifications, to the point that you can write a response in lock mode, which greatly simplifies the use of the device.
The updated menu makes it easy to work with applications, both system and user-installed, which are located in one place. Application icons are displayed on a light background, so menu navigation has become much easier.
User change
Special attention should be paid to such an option as a user manager. The function is very relevant for family tablets, which are used by all family members. A separate account can be created for each user. By switching between accounts, using one gadget becomes more convenient for a group of people.
Notification panel
The notification panel has undergone global changes, now, when it drops out, it does not close the main screen, because it is made semi-transparent. In the context of multitasking use of a smartphone, this feature will become an additional plus for ease of use.
Settings
After the installation, you will see that the settings menu improvements are not so global, you will not find any special differences: all the same icons, all the same functions. An exception is the additional function “Contactless payment” - a section designed for mobile payments.
Extra options
Smartphone, calendar and clock
Voice calls are set to quick calls by default. You will find the contact lists, as well as the call log, if you scroll to the right. The change to the calendar consists of the added option to display the schedule. You will see the calendar and all events in one feed.
The application contains the local and world time, a timer, an alarm clock, and a stopwatch as standard. Here you can set off the display of time on the display at night, saving a little battery, the setting is called "night mode".
Contacts, photos and keyboard
The address book is an alphabetical list of contacts. Favorites tab allows you to create an additional short list of the most important numbers for you.
Lollipop's image storage is inextricably linked to Google+; photos can be saved to Google cloud storage. At the automatic level, the program will edit pictures, it is possible to create interactive and animated albums, consisting of a series of photos. But everything has changed in the keyboard: the interface as a whole, the design of the buttons, animation when pressing the keys, vibration response.
Google fit
In the updated OS, you will find a pedometer from Google - Google Fit. The program will count steps, show the average speed, display the number of kilocalories spent, but it will also allow you to organize and save the results of training and various health information.
Time goes by - Android is growing, overtaking Apple in terms of convenience. The interface becomes smoother, the number of bugs decreases with each new version.
Lock screen changes
In Android 5.0 Lollipop, the notification system and the lock screen have been improved, now to read SMS, Whatsapp, turn on wi-fi or Bluetooth, you do not have to go into the settings, everything can be done directly from the lock screen or from the notification menu, as you like.
What's wrong with the apps menu
Applications are now displayed on a white background, the application menu has been nicely updated, and navigation is easier.
User change appeared
The system now has an account manager, now you can create several accounts with different settings and switch between them. Such functionality can be useful for a common smartphone or tablet.
Notification menu or notification panel
The drop-down notification menu in Lollipop has become semi-transparent and does not cover the main screen information.
Lollipop settings
The settings menu has acquired the "Contactless payment" section.
Calendar changes
The calendar application has been modified to include a schedule section showing the event feed and calendar at the same time.
Clock
The night mode function has appeared, which displays the time on the off display.
Keyboard for Android Lollipop
The keyboard has undergone very big changes in button click animations, design and vibration. Visually it is better, but in terms of practicality, nothing has changed.
New Google Fit
The system has a pre-installed pedometer application Google FitGoogle Fit... In the future, the application will be able to display any information about the user's health, heart rate, blood pressure, and more, with the necessary additional accessories, of course.
