Firmware for a “gray” phone via Kies Samsung

Samsung Kies cannot recognize unofficial hardware, which was brought into the country without prior registration. In this case, the firmware will not be possible. Luckily, there is a simple solution to this problem:

On your device, dial *#06#. This way you will know your International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI).
Then, enter this identifier into the request *#272*IMEI# in place of the corresponding characters.
A menu will open where you can replace the country of your device with any other. For Russia, enter SER.
Reboot your device.
Now your phone will be recognized as official, which means it can be easily updated through the Kies Samsung program.
