Description
The DVR is made in the body of a universal mirror with anti-reflective coating and is intended for installation on any regular mirror in any car model. The DVR is designed for fully automatic operation. Turning on occurs when the car is started (voltage is supplied to the cigarette lighter), turning off occurs when the car is turned off. Recording is performed cyclically - old files are automatically erased and replaced with new ones.

• Use the supplied power adapter. Use of other adapters may result in damage to the device and failure to guarantee repairs.
Before turning on the Motion Detector, read the instructions (Settings section, p. 3). Under normal operating conditions, it is not required.

The built-in battery is designed to correctly complete recording when the power is turned off and for short-term battery life. Always use
power adapter.
Installation
To install the DVR in the car, expand the spring holders and mount the DVR over the standard mirror. To remove a full-time mirror is not necessary. Check the reliability of the installation, adjust the direction
camera lens 8 (can be adjusted up / down and right / left). Check that the regular mirror does not obstruct the u1086 lens of the DVR.
Power modes
There are two power modes for the device.
1 Internal battery. The DVR can be turned on by pressing the button 2 (ON / OFF) and turned off by long pressing the button 2
2 Connect the car adapter cable to the DVR-A 3000 connector. In this case, the DVR will turn on automatically when the car starts. When the car ignition is turned off, the DVR-A 3000 will save the last recording file and automatically turn off.
To charge the battery, connect the USB cable or car adapter. The green indicator will light up. When charging is complete, the indicator turns off.
Video mode
Insert a microSD card before use.
DVR-A 3000 DVR starts recording immediately after turning on, if the car power adapter is connected.
In recording mode, the indicator flashes blue. Also, a red recording indicator flashes on the screen. Recorded files are saved to the microSD card.
To stop recording, press the 7 (OK) button, or turn off the car if the device is connected to the cigarette lighter.
The indicator goes off.
Photo mode
Turn on the DVR and use the OK button to stop recording.
Press the 3 Mode button to enter camera mode.
To take a photo, click OK.
Pressing the Menu button displays the selection menu

View and delete
Turn on the DVR and press the OK button to stop recording.
Press the 3 (Mode) button twice to enter the viewing mode. Use the 5 (UP) or 6 (Down) buttons to select the file to view. OK button can start and stop
reproduction. If you want to delete a file, press the 4 (Menu) button to enter the delete menu, then use the UP and Down buttons to select one of the delete options. Confirm the deletion or refuse by pressing the OK button.
If you select Format, all files on the memory card will be deleted.
Exit the menu - press Menu.
Turn on night mode
In Video or Photo mode, you can turn on the IR backlight. To do this, press and hold the OK button, the “moon” sign will appear on the screen. This mode is effective only at a short shooting distance and does not make sense when used in
car as a DVR.
Settings
Turn on the DVR, stop recording by pressing the OK button.
Press the 4 Menu button to enter the settings menu. Pressing the Menu button again opens the following settings page.
Use the UP and Down buttons to select the desired item and confirm your choice with the OK button.
To exit the settings mode, press the Menu button

Connect to a computer via USB
Connect the DVR to the computer using a USB cable. The display will show a selection of options:
Webcam (PC Camera)
External drive (Mass storage)
Select the desired option and confirm with OK
View files on TV
Connect the DVR-780 to the TV using the AV out cable, and
turn on the dashcam. It will automatically go to
view mode. Use the Up and Down buttons to select the file.
Using the OK button, you can start and stop playback.

The Chinese Jansite video recorder-mirror instruction is generalized in English, which causes users some difficulties when familiarizing themselves with the gadget.
Device setup and management
Jansite is a multifunctional device. It includes:
- an overlay for a rear-view mirror in the form of the display;
- dVR
- rear view camera.
The front camera lens has a view of 170 °, parking - 140 °. Data from both cameras is displayed on the display mirror. Full HD 1080p image quality. The device is capable of taking photos and videos. Records are stored on a memory card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.
The overlay monitor with a built-in front camera must be attached to the rear-view mirror using special rubber bands. The parking camera is attached under the rear bumper. The recorder’s native battery lasts for an hour of shooting, so you need to take care of connecting to the car network. Power can come from the cigarette lighter via a USB cable or from a lamp through hidden wires under the skin of the passenger compartment.
When the car is ignited, the front camera automatically turns on. The image appears on the display, recording starts. After a few minutes, the screen goes blank, and a red flashing indicator indicates the ongoing recording. When reverse gear is engaged, the parking camera is automatically activated.
To manually adjust the shooting parameters on a special overlay under the display, from the left to the right, there are 6 command keys:
- Menu.
- Image brightness and contrast.
- Move backward through menu items.
- Move forward through menu items.
- Confirming a menu item.
When you press the second key, you can go to the context menu and select the parameter of interest. Several items will appear on the display, each of which contains a small group of functions. In the first item of the context menu, you can select the format and quality of the recording, switch between 2 cameras, view the already recorded video. In the second paragraph, the photographing format is selected.
Next, select the cycle and duration of the recording. The fourth item displays motion detection. In the fifth and sixth paragraphs, the parameters and the quality of displaying the image on the screen are selected. You need to move between points with special control buttons. When selecting the required sub-item, the selection is made with the OK button.
Difficulties operating the device
The Jansite DVR / Mirror appeared on the market in 2017. Therefore, the product is still poorly understood. The equipment is supplied with instructions in English, which makes it very difficult to familiarize yourself with the installation and operation of the recorder. Manufacturers promised to translate the instructions, but have not yet implemented it. The existing instructions contain only generalized brief recommendations on installing and connecting the gadget.
Jansite DVR users have mixed reviews. Everyone, without exception, is pleased with the extremely affordable price. Of the shortcomings, isolated cases of failures in the program are distinguished. Some users note that sometimes cameras do not turn on automatically when ignited and they must be turned on manually through the menu.
Some experts believe that for safe parking, you need a rear view camera with a viewing angle of at least 180 °. Therefore, an existing parking camera with a 140 ° lens is not enough. It is very problematic to independently connect other recorders because it is difficult to find a device with the same power requirements.
Chinese DVRs have mediocre menu translation quality. It may be necessary to flash the device to install all the full functions. To do this, download the software of interest to your computer and check it with antivirus. If the program is compressed, then you will need to unzip it.
The DVR must be removed, remove the battery and memory card from it. The latter must be connected to a PC and formatted. After cleaning the card, the necessary software is transferred to it and launched for testing. At the end of the procedure, the DVR reassembles and reboots.
Independent firmware of the DVR causes some difficulties. If you format the memory card, a device without a native program may malfunction. You will have to connect the recorder directly to the PC. Here the following difficulty arises: sometimes the computer does not see the Chinese DVR. Therefore, it is better to do the firmware in a specialized salon.
